Scala Condos

Scala Condos is a new condominium development currently in pre-construction at Leslie Street near Nymark Avenue in Toronto, Ontario by Tridel in the Bayview Village community.

It is a proposed luxury “condo-community set against a naturally lush ravine setting” consisting of a 3 to 18 storey building wing that is situated along the south edge of the development site and is connected to a 4 to 11 storey building wing along Leslie Street designed by Wallman Architects priced from the $300,000’s to over $1.5 million.

Scala Condominiums is a new proposed community where “tranquility meets city living”. The proposed development is located against “a naturally lush ravine setting” with parkland and trails situated in the Bayview Village neighbourhood within proximity to public transportation.

This site is located north of Sheppard Avenue East with the Bayview Village shopping centre located to the west of the site and the Fairview Mall located to the east of the site. There are 552 residential units proposed as well as 538 parking spaces. Scala Condos will have “expansive suite designs, commanding views, incredible amenities” such as the rooftop pool.

The redevelopment of this site includes the replacement of existing rental townhouses managed by the Toronto Community Housing on the northern half of the site and will consist of 115 rental replacement units of which 48 units will be located in two 3-storey townhomes and 67 units will be located in the four storey apartment building along Leslie Street.

This redevelopment will also consist of a new public road and a publicly accessible open space. The Scala Condos will be located on the southern portion of the site.

The residential building itself consists of a 3 to 18 storey building wing that is situated along the south edge of the development site and is connected to a 4 to 11 storey building wing along Leslie Street with a total of 552 dwelling units.

The Scala Condominiums by Tridel will offer “a living environment that’s one with nature” surrounded by acres of naturally lush ravine and parkland with “expansive terrace retreats”.
